The 2024 Simplex Contest was held on February 25th. The weather cooperated again this year for our rovers and portable operators, and there was increased activity this year with several rovers and portable operators. The MSOE radio club boosted activity this year. Some MSOE members set up a portable operation on the roof observation area of the Grohmann Museum, and a few members operated as rovers. Ten stations were operating the digital modes, which was a great show.
It was great to hear new callsigns participating in the contest. With the increased activity, we also saw an improvement in log submissions this year. This year, 21 logs were submitted from four clubs. Moving to online log submission helped the committee certify the results.
The committee members want to thank all who participated this year. We look forward to working you again in 2025.

AA9RK- It was great to hear so much activity from lots of old friends and also new voices.
