The AllStarLink Node on MRAC Repeater
POLICY, RESTRICTIONS AND GUIDELINES
POLICY
The AllStarLink node on the MRAC repeater will be used primarily for remote access to the repeater by MRAC club members.
Secondarily, any licensed amateur radio operator may remotely access the MRAC repeater via their AllStarLink node for purposes of communicating with MRAC members.
RESTRICTIONS
At this time, the following activity may not occur without prior Board approval:
- the MRAC node is not to be linked to other repeaters
- the MRAC node is not to be linked to outside nodes, only incoming nodes
- remote Nets (those outside the control of MARC) are not permitted
- Linked nodes (nodes that link prior to accessing the MRAC node)
GUIDELINES
- Prior to linking to the MRAC node: Select DTMF *10 on your radio
- Do not have other live connections to other nodes while you are connected to the MRAC node
- Disengage your AllStarLink connection upon concluding your remote access: DTMF *359990 or *10
